Schwab's 5000 Series fireproof file cabinets are built as fail-safe record protection for vital paper documents. Easy to use, all 5000 series fireproof file cabinets come with follow blocks and frames for hanging folders. File interiors can be customized to fit any number of special filing applications and have flexible options such as the drawer-in-drawer for check filing or index cards.
Rated as UL Class 350 - 1 Hr Fire Resistant this file can survive a 1700°F fire for up to one hour. Those rated as Fire and Impact Resistant add the extra assurance that if the file falls through the floor, up to 30 feet, or is hit by falling beams or debris, the drawers will not jar open. File drawers available in letter and legal size.
Every file cabinet comes standard with plunger style lock that secures all the drawers. You can choose from a variety of locks to prevent break-ins.
Turn any of Schwab's fireproof file cabinets into a media file by adding a Media Cooler. These specially designed inserts will protect digital media from heat, smoke, and moisture. A spring-loaded latch automatically seals when the lid is closed.
